McChesney Ale is a native of Hovoro Village in North New Georgia in the Western Province and Bellona Island in Renbel Province. He is a Senior Associate of Rano & Company and is Commissioner for Oaths in Solomon Islands.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Papua New Guinea on 26 April 2019 and a Certificate in Legal Practice from the Institute of Legal Training of Papua New Guinea on 25 November 2019. He was also admitted as a Lawyer of the National Court of Papua New Guinea in 13 December 2019. He joined Rano & Company as an Article Clerk in February 2020.
He was admitted as a Barrister & Solicitor of the High Court of Solomon Islands on 6 November 2020. He has held the office of Ordinary Member of the Solomon Islands Bar Association for two consecutive terms from 2022 to 2024.
